Visa
Information
Any non European Economic
Community ("EEC") member who wishes to come to the UK to work
must have a valid UK work permit. Work Permits are not issued to
individual candidates but to their potential UK employer, commonly called
their sponsor.
- Visa Legal
Stuff
Work Permits are controlled by
Section 8 of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996.
This Act and Section make it a criminal offence to employ any person
aged 16 or over who is subject to immigration control unless…
"that person has current and valid permission to be in the
United Kingdom and that permission does not prevent him or her from
taking the job in question". In other words he or she must hold
a valid work permit.
- Obtaining a Visa
Corporate Partnerships have ongoing requirements for IT professionals
and recruit the majority from outside the EEC. We obtain the necessary work
permits for the candidates and ensure their smooth passage and arrival in
the UK ready for an assignment

- Requirements
There are minimum requirements before
an application will be considered.
As of today those requirements are as follows: -
1. A degree qualification and two years post graduate experience at
senior level; or
2. No degree but three years experience at senior level. In some
instances a Masters degree can count as one years experience.
